Elektrorheologie ist eine Technologie bei der "intelligente"
Fluide ihre Fließeigenschaften im elektrischen Feld verändern.
Das System der ER besteht aus Mechanik, Elektronik und der
elektro-rheologischen Flüssigkeit (ERF).
Elektrorheologische Flüssigkeiten sind adaptive Materialien,
deren Konsistenz durch elektrische Felder in weitem Rahmen
schnell und reversibel gesteuert werden kann.
ER-Fluide sind hoch belastbar, umweltverträglich, nicht abrasiv,
temperaturfest und industriell herstellbar. Sie bilden die Grundlage
für eine Vielzahl von technologischen Applikationen wie u.a. variable
Dämpfer, hochdynamische Aktuatoren, Ventile, Kupplungen und Bremsen. |
